Researchers in collaboration with the Transboundary Freshwater Dispute Database, population counts and density and dam concentration are calculated for the 310 international river basins. There are maps available to download for the basins and basin country units for the population in 2007, 2012, 2015, and 2020. Dam density is available for the existing and planned dam as of 2018.
